As healthcare providers, we want to do our part in keeping our patients & staff safe and stopping the spread of Covid19. Accident & Wellness Chiropractic stays up to date with and follows government regulations and CDC guidelines.
We provide our patients with masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves at each visit. We also ask Covid19 screening questions and utilize a no-touch thermometer to check our patients’ temperature. After each patient, our waiting area and treatment rooms are sanitized as well as any items/objects that were utilized or touched during treatment. We cover our chiropractic table with disposable protective film and replace it after each patient. Our office also has air purifiers with UV light in each room to help inactivate airborne pathogens and microorganisms.
Patient Forms – Upon entering our chiropractic clinic, our staff will greet and welcome you. We will ask you to fill out our new patient form(s). These documents provide us with general information about yourself and your clinical condition. We will provide you assistance with filling out the forms, if needed.
Consultation and examination – Next you will have a consultation with the Chiropractor to discuss your health conditions and concerns. Report of Findings – Once our doctor has completed the examination and/or evaluation, the doctor will report to you her findings and recommendation for treatment plan.
Treatment – Patients will generally be provided with an initial treatment during their first visit. Depending on your condition, treatment may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapies, modalities, physical therapies, massages, etc. We have various treatment techniques, styles, and technology that will accommodate the style of adjustment you will be most comfortable with. We have light/gentle instrument techniques that are available for patients who are uncomfortable with manual adjustments.
Wellness Program – After treatment, you will be given instructions to implement at home. Depending on your condition, this may include ice or heat application for pain, avoidance of certain activities/posture, exercises and/or stretches, diet change, nutrition supplements, stress management, etc.
