New Patients

  1. Patient Forms – Upon entering our chiropractic clinic, our staff will greet and welcome you. We will ask you to fill out our new patient form(s). These documents provide us with general information about yourself and your clinical condition. We will provide you assistance with filling out the forms, if needed.
  2. Consultation and examination – Next you will have a consultation with the Chiropractor to discuss your health conditions and concerns. Our doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination to test your range of motion, reflexes, neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Based on this examination, our chiropractor will discuss with you about potential treatment options which would help meet your goals.
  3. Testing/Imaging – Depending on your case, your specific condition may require a particular testing and/or taking x-rays, MRI . . . These tests will help our doctor evaluates and rules out some possibilities, and identify any misalignments and degenerations or underlying condition which may be the cause of the symptoms.
  4. Report of Findings – Once our doctor has completed the examination and/or evaluation, the doctor will report to you her findings and recommendation for treatment plan.
  5. Treatment – Patients will generally be provided with an initial treatment during their first visit. Depending on your condition, treatment may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapies, modalities, physical therapies, massages, etc. We have various treatment techniques, styles, and technology that will accommodate the style of adjustment you will be most comfortable with. We have light/gentle instrument techniques that are available for patients who are uncomfortable with manual adjustments.
  6. Wellness Program – After treatment, you will be given instructions to implement at home. Depending on your condition, this may include ice or heat application for pain, avoidance of certain activities/posture, exercises and/or stretches, diet change, nutrition supplements, stress management, etc.
